Visit Eaton Hill Nature Center, where you can not only learn about area wildlife, fossils, geology and more, but enjoy the various exhibits on display. You will also find quaint little shops to stop in for gifts to take back home from shops like Ole Creation. Pick up some flowers at Rosey Bud Florist, or for that hunter in your life there’s Rafter W. Feed, stocked with hunting supplies.

5. Tranquility

To round out your trip, make sure to stop at the Community Prayer Garden. Need a little tranquility and time to meditate, this is the perfect spot. “Built by the loving people of this town and with the funding assistance of many local businesses,” states its website.

Take in the sights and sounds, and bring your camera to take those majestic shots of the beautiful landscape and surroundings. Make sure to visit Sonora’s calendar of events at sonoratexas.org to keep up with all the exciting things they have to offer, and add Sonora to your bucket list of towns to make sure to visit in the near future!
