Strait Announces 1992 Concert Ticket Prices for September 1 & 2 Vegas Shows

Announcing on his Facebook page that there were more wonderful deals to come with the 25th anniversary of the release of “Pure Country,” George Strait lowered prices on his September 1 and 2 shows in Las Vegas to the concert rates of 1992 – the year the movie was released.

Starting at $35 and going up accordingly, it’s anticipated that Strait’s Facebook fans will have a heyday at these prices, and tickets may quickly be hard to come by for the Friday and Saturday shows. But, we’re sure that’s not the only deal to be brought forward as the star celebrates the release of a film that his fans continue to cherish. Within this past month alone, the announcement that the “Pure Country” soundtrack would be released on vinyl for the first time was generating significant uptake. The link provided for pre-order identified a September 15 release.

Shared on the Warner Bros. YouTube channel, the official trailer for “Pure Country” will take you back in time if nothing else. Do you remember the first time you watched it for the first time? Where were you 25 years ago when it was first released? We were right here in Texas, of course, dressing in those high-waisted “mom” jeans, wearing our color-blocked button-downs, our big hair (don’t we always have big hair ladies?!), and our best boots to the theater. Now we can’t believe a quarter of a century has passed, and we’re banking on grabbing a pair of those concert tickets to celebrate!
