One of country music’s most successful artists of this decade, Easton Corbin has recently announced new tour dates for 2018, and a stop in Texas is on the list. Fans of the artist quickly commented on his Facebook page after the posting came up, outlining 18 tour stops throughout the U.S. within the first half of the year. Most of them happily noted having or purchasing tickets for future shows, while still, others made tour stop suggestions.
“Corbin has made a lasting impression on the country music landscape…” said an event representative out of Tallahassee, Florida (close to where Corbin grew up in Gilchrist County), and with hits like “I’m a Little More Country Than That,” he sings to the tune of his multitude of fans. His lyrics and melodies resonate with those that live the country lifestyle, or dream of simply being a part of it. His southern ethic and hospitality only add to the sets at each of his shows, where he welcomes fans and press alike for a truly unique concert experience.

Taking the country music scene by storm in 2009, Corbin is in the process of releasing his fourth studio album, but not before its lead single, “A Girl Like You,” made its way up the charts to become official top-10 material in mid-December of 2017. Thanking his fans for requesting and listening, and country music radio for continuing to play it, Corbin’s ability to relate to fans and industry personnel alike is seamless. Both his Twitter and Facebook accounts reflect the artist’s enthusiasm through his team’s posts and his Instagram account mirrors the lifestyle his fans continue to admire.

With respect to the music, in 2017 he took the opportunity to partner with Tracy Lawrence on a re-release of Lawrence’s hits called “Good Ole Days,” on which he collaborated with the industry mainstay for the song “Paint Me a Birmingham.” According to the iTunes description, the pair “…doubles down on its expressiveness,” when the song (continuing to be a solo hit for Lawrence with traditional country music fans) simply finds parity with its counterparts as a duet that sounds like it was made purely golden by the pair. With a number of festivals, tour dates, and album releases under his belt, a tour stop in Texas is no surprise, but Corbin is also no stranger to this state for its food scene. Is it any wonder? His “Easton Eats” YouTube show visited Cooper’s BBQ in Fort Worth to sample some of that good Texas barbecue, giving it two thumbs up. We look forward to his return to the Lone Star State which is scheduled for Dallas on February 10 of this year, and to his continued success on the country music scene.
