Ranked No. 88. Nationally – The Classic Burger

This not-so-little number from Hopdoddy Burger Bar is made from some of the freshest available, all-natural ingredients. Hopdoddy prides itself on the use of beef that comes from “humanely raised cows” without the added use of growth hormones or antibiotics. Their beef is ground in-house daily and their buns are made from scratch and baked fresh every day.

Ranked No. 77. Nationally – Double With Cheese

P. Terry’s offering of the Double With Cheese is one that equals its rivals on the list in taste but surpasses many of its counterparts in quality. They use 100% pure black angus beef, never frozen and free of additives, fillers and preservatives, antibiotic- and hormone-free. Their buns are baked fresh at Mrs. Baird’s and delivered throughout the week, and this is just the topper of a locally-sourced produce mix you can get on your double-patty and double cheese.

Ranked No. 74. Nationally – Hut’s Favorite

Hut’s Hamburgers is located at 807 W 6th St., Austin, together with Frank and Angie’s Pizzeria. Made with all beef patties, perfectly prepared and dripping with juiciness, the Hut’s Favorite is served with mayo, lettuce, tomatoes, bacon and American cheese. All this in a great location, with friendly staff and an awesome atmosphere!

Ranked No. 61. Nationally – Parkside

The Parkside of course belongs to its namesake restaurant which is actually named for a housing project in the Bronx (NY) were Chef/Owner Shawn Cirkiel’s father grew up. Also located on 6th St., they’ve been serving fresh, farm-to-table and homemade, and doing it right in downtown for almost a decade. For a seasonally fresh menu, not to mention this winner-winner-beef-dinner burger, visit Parkside – a favorite of tourists and locals alike.

Ranked No. 34. Nationally – Congress Burger

Second Bar + Kitchen serves up the Congress Burger from, of course, Congress Ave. in Austin. Combining fresh, seasonal ingredients with local artisan products is their niche, and it works quite well. A take on fine dining tastes, the ‘Congress’ is a mixture of ground brisket and chuck, topped with shallot confit, gruyere cheese, greens and tomatoes on a brioche bun.
