Keep an eye on the wreath hanging on your door if you live in Tomball, Texas. Click2Houston.com reports that there is a wreath thief on the loose. A security camera located near the front door of a house at Guernsey Drive and Heron Trail caught footage of a woman walking up to the porch, carefully removing their heavy, decorated wreath, and casually walking off with it. Another neighbor in the nearby Lakewood Grove subdivision says their wreath has been stolen, as well, though they do not have security camera footage to confirm if and when the same person snatched the décor.

“It means something to me, of course, the wreath, but the person who took it should be accounted for,” Hope Morrison, the wreath thief’s victim, told Click2Houston.com, adding, “There’s packages probably missing out there. Who knows what.”

Strangely enough, wreath thievery isn’t unheard of. In fact, KENS 5 covered a story about several missing Halloween wreaths and outdoor decor in the Stone Oak neighborhood in San Antonio just last year, and once again, a woman was caught on hidden camera footage stealing an item from someone’s front yard. The victim filed a police report, but there was no investigation since the item totaled less than $100.
