Designed to give you every “Parent of the Year”-advantage possible, their Guadalupe River and Canyon Lake campgrounds are a short drive from Kerrville and San Antonio, respectively, offering great road-trip Texas Hill Country views. And independently they give families peace of mind, helping plan on-site activities to help newbies and seasoned campers alike become satisfied they made the right decision for what could become an annual vacation experience. Offering haunted escape hay rides, a petting zoo and carnival on October 7, and a magic show on October 14, the Jellystone Park Guadalupe River is ramping up for great autumn and Halloween-focused family fun. Jellystone Park Hill Country is no slacker either, planning a series of great September and October family-oriented fun.

At Jellystone Park Guadalupe River, the park is more nature-focused, with opportunities to take a leisurely walk along the river, fish, swim in its cool waters, or relax in one of the park’s many shady tree swings which overlook its natural beauty. Campers can also watch deer feed in the nearby meadow! Their added Halloween-themed experiences include zombie “Lazer Tag,” as well as a mile-long haunted trail for the more “mature” campers. With all of these wonderful things to see and do in such a unique setting, you’ll truly appreciate the happiness and satisfaction that comes with your stay.

Canyon Lake is a beautiful part of the Texas Hill Country, within spending distance of San Antonio’s urban center yet far enough out to maintain that rural camping feel. Coming into their autumn season, in addition to their regularly scheduled activities, Jellystone Park Hill Country is planning to have a balloon artist and face painting happening from September 29 to October 1, reptile shows scheduled for October 13-15 and 27-29, a falcon demonstration October 20-22, and an incredible magic show planned to take place October 27-29. They’ll also be doing a Halloween flash mob, glow-in-the-dark “Lazer Tag,” and a haunted hike through a “ghost town” for the older kids in the crowd.
