The Highland Lakes are only eight miles away from Cedar Park.  The Highland Lakes consist of six lakes along the Colorado River.  The closest lake to Cedar Park is Lake Travis.  These lakes provide hiking and biking trails, fishing, boating, and lounging.

1890 Ranch Shopping Center includes over 80 stores, restaurants, entertainment options, and service stores including Academy, Super Target, Pet Smart, Hobby Lobby, Bealls and a 12 screen Cinemark theater complex.

A huge attraction to this area is the Austin Outdoor Zip line Adventure. It has 5 zip lines ranging from 250 feet to the longest zip line in Texas – over 2000 feet. Enjoy amazing views of Lake Travis and Texas Hill Country on this zip line.  The zip line is in Leander Texas, which is approximately eight minutes outside of Cedar Park.

There are over 750 known caves within Williamson County. Visitors can visit Avery Ranch Cave, Dies Ranch Treasure Cave, and visit a 100 – year old log cabin. Both Avery Ranch Cave and Dies Ranch Cave have had decking and lights installed in order to allow visitors to see the beauty of the caves first hand.

The Thirsty Oaks Wine Trail is the perfect trip for wine lovers.  The Thirsty Oaks Wine Trail allows individuals to enjoy the beauty of Texas while tasting exceptional wines.  There are four wineries and vineyards located along the scenic back roads of the Texas Hill Country.
