Unsurprisingly, Texas is the fifth highest state in the country when it comes to issuing tickets for traffic violations. Learn about the facts in this infographic.

Recently, Safe2Drive released an infographic detailing the extent of Texas’ traffic ticket empire. This graphic covers major violations, like driving without a license and intoxication manslaughter, to minor violations like speeding or no seatbelt.

What’s even more interesting, per the graphic, is that the fastest speeding ticket in the world was issued in Texas during May 2003. The speed of the ticketed? 242 miles per hour!

The most ticketed vehicle in Texas is a Hummer H2/H3 with a 463 percent ticket rate per 100,000 miles driven as part of an average. It also shows that $200,000 per cop on the road is the average revenue that a city will make from these fines.

These statistics seem correct to us!
