Altitude H20 is scheduled to open soon on Grapevine Lake. The floating water park will feature an obstacle course, slides, and, yes, a trampoline. June 16 will be its official opening date, according to Amanda Rodriguez, Marketing Manager of Grapevine’s Parks and Recreation Department. Located at 3000 Meadowmere Lane at Meadowmere Park, the 25,000-square foot project is part of the city’s master plan.

“We did a survey of the groups including the youth. One of their desires was a water park. That is what sparked the idea of the inflatable water park,” Rodriquez explained. Forming a partnership for its development, the city of Grapevine worked with Altitude Trampoline Parks out of Fort Worth for design and implementation. This will be the first inflatable water park for the company as a result.

“Grapevine is the first city in Texas to work with Altitude H2O. Grapevine has never had anything like this,” Rodriguez stated. With 64 locations globally, including 51 here in the U.S., Altitude Trampoline Parks is a growing entity, having 38 sites presently under construction. As a result, Grapevine could see their development being not only the first of its kind but the impetus for future developments throughout Texas and beyond.
