14-year-old Texan, Jagger Horn of Anson, Texas, sold his champion steer for a whopping $210,000! After the days of showing and evaluation at the 2016 Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo, the field was narrowed down to six finalists before Horn won grand champion.

Horn sold the steer, appropriately named “Big Boy,” at the Fort Worth Stock Show’s Sale of Champions. His plan is to use some of his winnings on college tuition, and the rest on purchasing new cattle.

Big Boy, who weighed in around 1,300 pounds, was purchased by a real estate development company called Hillwood Properties. They plan on donating the steer to the Fort Worth Zoo.

This isn’t the first time the teenager has received a large sum of money for his cattle. Horn says, “I won the San Antonio Stock Show [last year] and got $130,000 for that steer. This is the best one because it is the most competitive. I think it is the best show in the nation.”

As he told NBCDFW News, Horn was “out of his mind nervous” and was amazed he did as well as he did. He also described the win as bittersweet. “It’s sweet because I won, but it’s bitter because I’ll have to let him go tomorrow (Saturday).”
