If the Black Friday rush and warm Texas weather have left you searching for that Christmas cheer, the Hill Country offers a selection of seasonal activities to get you into the holiday spirit. Don your Santa hat or elf ears, hit the road, and check out some of these favorites:

1. Burnet’s Main Street Bethlehem

For a truly authentic Christmas experience, visit Burnet’s Main Street Bethlehem. Transport yourself to the time of Jesus’ birth with this interactive experience recreating the streets of ancient Bethlehem. Celebrating its 25th year, this event is presented for free (donations accepted) by First Baptist Church Burnet. Main Street Bethlehem is open December 1-3, and December 8-10 from 6-9 p.m. For more information, visit the First Baptist Church website.

2. Georgetown’s Christmas Stroll

Celebrating its 37th year, Georgetown’s Christmas Stroll takes place on December 1-2. Welcoming both Santa and The Grinch, this festival is great for kids and parents alike! Take in the sights and sounds of the season, while exploring the downtown square. Featuring live entertainment, a movie screening, Whoville and Bethlehem Villages, food vendors, and more, this two-day event is a must-see. Admission is free.
