How to Make a Delicious Espresso Ribeye Steak
Do you love steak, but sometimes (even if you won’t admit it out loud) wish you could do something to spice up the flavor? Nothing beats a fresh steak off the grill with those sear marks, but this espresso steak rub might change up the pace.
Steak is one of those food groups that we could never really tire of — it’s juicy, decadent, depending on the cut, and always grills to perfection. Sure, there are lots of ways to amp up the flavor of the meat, but this espresso steak rub might be the best one based on flavor alone.
You don’t even have to grind your own espresso beans like the chef does in the video — you can always find ground espresso powder in the coffee aisle of H-E-B or your local supermarket. It seems kind of odd, but the espresso flavor turns smoky and delicious not the grill, making the cut taste incredible.
Why change a classic? Because sometimes when you have your friends and family over for an impromptu barbecue, it’s fun to change things up on them. Don’t worry, we won’t tell them you might have gotten this recipe from us!
