Only in Texas: Police Chase Young Bull on the Loose in Arlington Suburb

By  |

When a young bull was found wandering through an Arlington neighborhood, police began patrolling its path to make sure it stayed out of trouble.

On the afternoon of May 9, neighbors reported a young bull on the loose in a quiet neighborhood and much to their delight, the chase continued for over four hours.

The bull wasn’t phased by its trek outside and instead walked along the street and across the yards of the homes like he had been there before. Jillyan Nance told WFAA that the bull “trotted down [her] home and cut across [her] yard into [her] neighbor’s yard.”

The little guy was relaxed the entire time and never turned aggressive, even with the police vehicles on his tail, lights rolling and all. The dash cam video of the escapee is below, and it’s adorable.

The chase ended without incident when a rancher stepped in and directed the bull into a pen near Dalworthington Gardens around 8 p.m. as the sun was setting. What a big day for this little bull! As they say, only in Texas will you see this.
