This Little Boy Was Super Excited to Get Baptized

Sometimes you look forward to something so much that when the moment finally comes, you can’t contain your excitement and you rush right through it. Jordan Warrick, a 6-year-old boy from Louisville, Kentucky couldn’t help himself this past Sunday when he ended up dipping his own head into the water during his Baptism!

Jordan’s family and their congregation gathered around the West End Baptist Church pool while Jordan’s dad, Terence, recorded the major life event. He posted it on Facebook afterwards and the video quickly went viral. “I just posted it because it was special to me and my family,” Terence told ABC 13. But luckily, we all get to enjoy it now.

In the video, the pastor says, “He’s been waiting on this day a long time.” Which cued Jordan to shout, “I’ll do it!” right before dunking himself into the water. Everyone there erupted in laughter.

Jordan’s face right before he takes a very active part in his own Baptism shows a thrilled child who seems to know this event is very important. He appears excited to show his family and congregation that he’s growing up and loves life.
