The Famous (or Infamous?) Fredericksburg Community Orchestra will present a HauntCert this Saturday, October 29th, at St Joseph’s Halle at 3:00 p.m.  Musicians will be dressed in costumes, and you are invited to come in costume as well.  The performance includes “Danse Macabre”, the “Oompa Loompa Song”, “Monster Mash”, and the theme from the “Addams Family”.  Afterward, children will be invited to learn about the musicians and their instruments in a Musical Petting Zoo.  Refreshments will be provided.  There are plenty of choices on what to do with your kids this Saturday, but this is one which may influence them in a positive way for many years.  This is not just a concert, but an interactive program for all ages!  St Joseph’s Halle is located at 212 West San Antonio Street in Fredericksburg, and there is ample parking.

If there is such a thing as quality time with your children, this is it.  No tickets, no reservations, just fun, good old-fashioned Fredericksburg-style entertainment.  Enter the double doors on the West San Antonio Street side of the building, and come prepared to have fun!  You may find that your kids are intrigued with the idea of playing a string instrument.  You may even find that YOU are intrigued with the idea!
