CEO for Fiat-Chrysler Sergio Marchionne has confirmed that the Scrambler will have a traditional chassis, outfitted with aluminum panels, as opposed to a previous statement identifying the vehicle would be fully aluminum. Cars in Trend has noted similarly that it will have traditional solid axles, and The Detroit News quoted Marchionne stating that the vehicle would be manufactured in Toledo.

The release of the 2017 Scrambler is the news that Jeep fans have been waiting for since the sale of the last Jeep pickup in 1992. Although too early to predict sales levels, you won’t need a crystal ball to see there’s going to be a lot of happy future off-roaders.
