‘Dancing With the Stars’ Releases Their New Cast

On March 20th, the 24th season of ABC’s hit show “Dancing With the Stars” begins, and as Houston’s ABC 13 excitingly revealed, Texas gymnast Simone Biles will join pro Sasha Farber on the dance floor.

Biles will compete against stars like “The A-Team’s” Mr. T, charismatic Spanish entertainer Charo, the current “Bachelor” Nick Viall and Olympian Nancy Ann Kerrigan. Sports fans will recognize NFL running back Rashad Jennings and baseball player David Ross.

ABC 13 lists additional TV stars as “Glee’s Heather Morris and Saturday Night Live alum Chris Kattan. There’s also Erika Girardi of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, who is also known as Erika Jayne for her dance club music.” A complete list of the contestants and their professional dance partner can be found here.

After checking out the comments on the “Dancing With the Stars” official Facebook page, it seems like fans are already buzzing about the cast and guessing who will take home the coveted Mirror Ball trophy. But at this point in the series, it seems like there’s more chatting about the professional dancers themselves than the stars. As fan Matthew Konieczka writes, “The Dancers are the REAL stars! Everybody knows them and has their favorite! You find yourself rooting for your favorite PRO!”
