Lampasas is getting ready to roll out the red carpet for its annual Bloomin’ Fest scheduled for Saturday, April 1 featuring fun, food, vendors, and gardening booths for all your spring planting ideas. Coupled with this signature Texas Hill Country event comes the added bonus of the Sip & Stroll event, featuring eight Texas wineries to add to this amazing springtime day of activities.

With more than 100 vendors and various activities paying tribute to spring in this annual event, at the forefront, of course, are Texas Hill Country wildflowers, whose blooming season typically falls in the latter part of March and early part of April. Taking place Saturday, April 1, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Courtyard Square in Historical Downtown Lampasas, Bloomin’ Fest is free to the public and includes arts, crafts, great food trucks, live entertainment, a children’s area. The Sip & Stroll event will have a modest ticket price and will showcase a variety of Texas wineries inside the various Lampasas boutiques, shops, and businesses surrounding Bloomin’ Fest. It will also feature a commemorative wine glass and tote bag, ten tasting tickets, as well as delicious food pairings.
