Man Struck By Pigeon While on a Roller Coaster, Keeps Enjoying the Ride

In a video posted on April 7th by Looopings, a man riding a roller coaster collides head-on with a pigeon. The unfortunate bird slaps the unlucky man in the front seat with such force that it seems to die instantly, yet it still hangs on to his neck by the force of the coaster. It was obviously an extremely disorienting event for the roller coaster rider!

According to WTOL, the incident took place at the newly opened Ferrari Land Amusement Park in Spain. The roller coaster the video was filmed on is called the Red Force. Theme Park Insider says it’s the park’s signature coaster, and it’s “now the tallest and fastest roller coaster in Europe…reaching a height of 112 metres and a speed of 110mph.” Obviously, it’s not where you’d want to run into another living being.

But the man isn’t deterred from having a good time even though his was sporting a pigeon body necklace for a few seconds. After he gestures to the dead bird confusingly and tries to point out the oddity to his friend, he goes right back to enjoying the ride. Watch the weird happening below.
