2 Men Shout as a Snake Emerges From the Hood of Their Car While Driving Along the Highway

A new viral video features the voices of two somewhat panicked Texans as a snake appeared on top of their car hood while driving down Highway 114 in Lubbock County. ABC 13 says the men began recording after they caught a peek of the snake’s head poking out right in front of the driver’s side window.

“Go! Get out of here!” one of the men encouraged the snake while still speeding along the highway. As it was slowly emerging, the slithering snake seemed like it wanted off, but the wind resistance was mercifully keeping it from hitting the pavement.

Once the driver determined it was best to pull over, the snake fully came into view, and it was much longer than the men expected. It also was still not leaving the comfort of the car. “Should I go poke it with the umbrella?” one of the men asked. It seems like one of those things you would only hear in Texas!

See the lengthy snake for yourself in the video below. Perhaps the best part of the video comes near the end when you can hear their voices crescendo into high-pitched cries of concern and laughter at the weird sight.
