Love Accessible Interior Design? The New IKEA Location in Grand Prairie is Now Hiring

By  |

In late September last year, everyone’s favorite massive Swedish home goods franchise IKEA announced that they were spreading their wings in Texas and adding more locations of their large stores. While there’s already one IKEA in the DFW area, a second will open in Grand Prairie in Fall 2017, and of course, nearby residents are already looking forward to opening day.

Now, WFAA writes that the company is searching for employees to run their new Grand Prairie store. It may come as no surprise that a place as huge as IKEA needs 300 new workers. New store manager Matt Hunsicker told the news, “We are thrilled to offer interested jobseekers diverse positions with limitless opportunity at a global company known for being a great place to work. We believe it is as fun to work at IKEA as it is to shop at IKEA.”

Imagine becoming familiar with the maze of furniture, home goods, and etcetera located throughout the store and warehouse with jobs in sales, design, and customer service. Also, they offer “full medical and dental insurance to employees who work more than 20 hours a week and offer vacation, tuition assistance, a 401(k) matching plan, and a discount to shop.”
