Women Have a New Option When It Comes to Hair Loss

By  |

Dealing with hair loss as a woman can be incredibly difficult since a full head of hair is so closely associated with beauty in our culture. But there’s a new alternative to the more common forms of hair loss cover-ups like wigs, weaves, extensions, and powders. Lucinda Ellery salons offer women the Intralace system. “This system is suitable for women with hair thinning or hair loss in the front hair line, parting or crown area. This system is fully integrated with your existing hair and allows for complete freedom to wash, brush and treat the hair as your own. The Minima is particularly effective for hair thinning in the hair parting area,” writes the consultancy’s website.

Getting the Intralace system is pricey; it costs about $3,000 and takes several hours to put in. In fact, YouTuber Veronica Mead posted a video of her experience and said it took 15 hours and was absolutely exhausting. But the end result was stunning and caused tears of joy! See her journey here.

Currently, this product is available in the United Kingdom, Los Angeles, New York, and soon, San Francisco. So if you are interested in trying the Intralace system for yourself, you’ll need to travel to do so, but hopefully, the product will make its way toward Texas soon.
