Holy Cow, This Texas Momma Had Quadruplet Calves
In East Texas, on the border with Arkansas just grazing about, one of Dora Rumsey-Barling’s 20 cows grew the family herd by four more — she had a super rare time of it all with the births of quadruplet calves.
As if it couldn’t get any more adorable than that, the cute black calves were named Eeny, Meeny, Miny and Moo. “It’s never happened to me, and certainly not in our town,” Rumsey-Barling says in a video published by USA Today.
The family went ahead and had DNA testing done to give credo to their cow’s unbelievable feat, in case there are any doubters out there who require the bonafides.
“I’ll tell you whatI have never gotten so much credit for doing so little in my life,” the town’s vet Dr. Michael Baird said. The doctor gave the odds of four live births from one cow are 1 in 11.2 million.
Miracles truly do come in all shapes and sizes.
