This Toddler Who Spreads Joy to Strangers Will Melt Your Heart

As we get older, we often treat strangers with a sense of apprehension instead of friendliness.  This video of an adorable toddler spreading joy to strangers should remind us all of the power of kindness — not just to the people in our lives, but to everyone we meet.

16-m0nth-old little Joey went to the grocery store with her mother and decided to wave hello to all of the people she passed. She wandered around waving to random grocery shoppers and they, of course, waved back. You can see how people’s faces lit up when Joey greeted them.

At one point, Joey waves to a woman and then holds her arms out to hug her. The two embrace and it’s clear she warms the woman’s heart with her kindness.

We’re glad Joey’s mom was able to capture the sweet moment on camera. Watch the video and try not to have your heart completely melted by Joey’s kindness and good nature.
