Due to inclement weather caused by Hurricane Harvey, Texas country music sensation Aaron Watson has rescheduled his appearance in the Bluebonnet Capital of Texas. The new show date is set for Sunday, October 22 at 7 p.m. at Haley Nelson Park.
If you purchased tickets for his August 26 appearance, do not worry your ticket will still be good for the new show. However, if you are unable to attend the new event, Watson’s Facebook page indicates you will receive a full refund. A native of West Texas, Watson blasted onto the Billboard Country Album Chart with his number one album, “The Underdog,” in 2015. Now, two years later, he recently released his newest collection of songs, “Vaquero.”
According to his website, the cowboy crooner wrote many of the songs found on his latest album while traveling between shows for the past two years. Altogether, he and his band have played in six countries and over 35 states.
Even though he has become a well-recognized figure in the world of Texas Country Music, Watson has stayed true to his roots. The following quote from his biography sums up how the artist feels about his musical style. “It doesn’t really matter whether I’m playing a dance hall in Texas or a stadium tour around the world, I’m just me,” he says. “I won’t change.”
