Born Patsy Ann McClenny in Dallas, Texas, actress Morgan Fairchild got her start in the entertainment industry at an early age. As a child, she appeared on the Mr. Peppermint Show, hosted by Jerry Haynes, and through her teens, she was an audience member on WFAA-TV’s Sump’n Else bandstand show. During that same time, she had appearances on a number of locally broadcast commercials in the Dallas-Fort Worth area and got her big break in T.V. on the CBS daytime soap entitled “Search for Tomorrow” as the character Jennifer Pace.
Fairchild has since appeared in numerous popular television roles on such shows as “Dallas,” “Falcon Crest,” “Murphy Brown,” and “Roseanne,” among others. With 44 years in the entertainment industry under her belt, it was no surprise when the popular daytime soap opera, “Days of Our Lives” cast her in the role of Anjelica Deveraux.
