Joey Kramer, the drummer for Aerosmith, is selling his well-appointed mansion approximately 15 minutes out of Austin in the Cimarron Hills Golf Course and Country Club Community. If you have some spare change lying around, it’s listing at $2.235 million.

Consisting of a main house as well as a carriage house for guests, the property features a golf cart bay as well an amazing swimming pool. The main house is 7,097 square feet built in a Mediterranean style, decorated with herringbone wood floors, stone accents, and rustic chandeliers. Constructed in 2002, this five-bedroom beauty has a master suite which is a self-contained retreat on its own, complete with a broad balcony, great view of the grounds, and an oversized spa-styled bath.

The carriage house guest residence is 1,200 square feet of stucco and stone architecture having one bedroom and one bath and is situated just beyond the main house. In an interview with the Austin Business Journal, Megan DiBartolo (the listing agent working with The Winnett Group Inc. on the sale of the home), said, “There’s not really any property like this in the area. Joey and his wife moved to the Boerne area to get more acreage and built something similar to this home. They were a bit reluctant to move, but had started to have more fans come around and buzz their gate.” If only we had problems such as that for which we could build a bigger, better home in the Texas Hill Country to escape from it all!
