Alan Eugene Jackson has clearly had a successful career in the country music industry. Being inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame this year, the artist moved with his wife to Nashville in the ‘80s following her approach of Glen Campbell in the airport, telling him about her husband. This led to a songwriting contract through Campbell’s publishing company, which in turn led to a recording contract, and then his debut album in 1989, “Here in the Real World.”

As a traditional country singer and songwriter, Jackson has the respect of the industry as well as his league of fans, who have supported him every step of the way. From “Chasin’ That Neon Rainbow” right on up through his latest release, “The Older I Get”, he has consistently given his best, winnings Grammy awards, ACM and CMA awards, and becoming a member of the Georgia Music Hall of Fame and the Grand Ole Opry. His 2018 “Honky Tonk Highway” tour is currently scheduled for 18 dates throughout the U.S. from January through September, with additional dates pending, and he’s about to make two stops in Texas along the way.
