After busting through the windshield, a 7-foot-long alligator tried to escape after being captured in Fulshear, but it didn’t end well.

Christy Kroboth has made headlines before as an alligator wrangler, but this time, one gator tried to outwit her. As KHOU reported, Kroboth had wrangled this gator in the middle of the night in Fulshear, Texas, and decided to keep it in her car like she normally does. She posted the photo of the scene the next morning, however.

As her caption read, “If you catch them in the middle of the night, sometimes I keep them in the backseat of my car, in the trunk area and they’re fine. But in the middle of the night, this guy tried to escape. He climbed over the row of seats and he’s now in the front windshield where he busted the windshield in two places…”

She wasn’t inside the car at the time and still had to wrestle the gator once again to get it back inside of the vehicle. She fears that this gator has been mistreated in some way, which makes him even more fearful of humans as he is blind in his right eye and has bullet wounds in his back.
