Amazing Man Risks Life to Save Dog Dangling from Balcony

In Colombia, a dog was seen dangling from a balcony when neighbors leaped into action to come to its rescue.

The video below shows the harrowing scene of the pup dangling off a balcony railing after becoming stuck. As someone began filming the rescue efforts, one true hero emerged: a man who risked his life to climb from the apartment below to swoop the dog to safety.

This kind of occurrence is one reason why people are warned against letting their animals freely roam balconies of any kind. We are so thankful this dog was lifted to safety, but the video lasting one minute and 18 seconds is enough of a shot of adrenaline for any day.

You can hear bystanders crying and worrying as the video rolls and the man makes his way up the balcony to rescue the scared pup.

It seems as though the owner of the pup wasn’t home because they were unable to scoop the dog to safety from their own balcony, which is why the man needed to climb up the outside of the building.

Thank goodness we don’t see how far the drop is from the building until after the rescue because I’m not sure our poor hearts could take it!
