Get Ready for the Most Amazing Meteor Shower Ever! [WATCH]

The night sky is fixin’ to put on a display that will prove to be more fantastic than the Fourth of July. Earth is currently passing through the debris trail left behind by the Comet Swift-Tuttle, resulting in a glorious abundance of shooting stars known as the Perseid Meteor Shower.

The best dates to watch will be August 11 – 12, 2016, with the peak time at around 10 p.m. on August 12. What does this mean for the Texas Hill Country? Well, we have some of the darkest skies around, and since the moon is going to be nearly new, that makes for prime conditions for stargazing!
