Unlikely Group of Guardian Angels Changes Abused Teen’s Life Forever

By  |

Referred to only as “FA,” the now college student retells her journey through abuse and fear, and later into recovery thanks to an unlikely group of guardian angels.

When FA was just 10-years-old, her step-father started abusing her. Eventually, at age 12, she decided to tell her mom, who immediately kicked him out of the house and pressed charges. But with the trial a whole three years away, FA feared for her safety on a daily basis.

According to FA’s mother, she was showering with her clothes on, having nightmares, barely sleeping, and constantly afraid. That is, until B.A.C.A. showed up and saved FA from her paralyzing fear.

B.A.C.A. stands for “bikers against child abuse.” The organization comes together for children who are victims of abuse to give them physical and emotional support. The bikers are on call 24/7 for these kids and wholly bring them into their family. Each kid becomes a member of the group, gets their own cut, and even receives their own road name.

B.A.C.A. spent nights outside of FA’s house, took her to school, and even accompanied her at the trial against her step-father (now imprisoned).

According to the group’s president, Tombstone, “We are scarier than their perpetrator. We are scarier than their demons.” The group of biker’s sole mission is to instill a sense of belonging in abused children and help restore their sense of safety.

“It is probably the most important role I’ve played in my life,” Tombstone shares. “These kids have no one else, and we’re that single strand of barbed wire between hell and happiness for them.”

FA is now a happy, healthy full-time college student, and B.A.C.A. continues to ride and protect those in need.
