Ah, the good ol’ drive-in. An awesome relic of all things nostalgic, they represent long summer nights. But are these the three best drive-in move theaters in the Lone Star State? In another viewer poll, the Texas Country Reporter asked residents what the best drive-in movie theaters in Texas are, and they answered.

Ranking third is Town & Country in Abilene. When it opened in 1956, it was the biggest drive-in movie theater in Texas. While it has been dwarfed in size since, it offers double features on its four screen and that has helped to keep it from closing down.

In second place is Bravos Drive In, a mile outside of Granbury. Offering double features on Friday and Saturday nights, they are still keeping their over 50-year-old traditions alive by packing the lot with happy movie-goers.

Finally, the winner of the best drive-in movie theater in Texas is Galaxy Drive In in Ennis, Texas. With recent updates, including the ability to use an in-car speaker or tune in to an FM station, they offer six all-digital screens that even gives you the ability to enjoy a 3D movie. They also offer a two-for-one movie deal every night of the week, so you can always find something you enjoy there.
