Get your acting chops ready to audition for the 2008 Tony Award®, Best Revival of a Play -“Boeing Boeing” brought to you by the Uvalde Grand Opera House! Here’s your chance to come out on May 31, 2017, to be a part of the award-winning comedy originally written in French by Marc Camoletti and then translated for English stages by Beverly Cross and Francis Evans shares their press release.
Performances will be this upcoming summer August 4 -6, 2017 to celebrate the National Soaring competition at Garner Field Airport. They are looking to cast two males and four females. Cast members must be 18 years and older. No need to prepare any monologue as there will be scripts at the audition.

Set in the 1960s, “Boeing Boeing” centers around a swinging bachelor named Bernard who couldn’t be happier, a flat in Paris, and three gorgeous stewardesses, one German, one Italian, and one American. Wait for it…they are all engaged to Bernard and none is the wiser. Juicy plot twist.
“But Bernard’s perfect life gets bumpy when his friend Robert comes to stay and a new and speedier Boeing jet throws off all of his careful planning. Soon all three stewardesses are in town simultaneously, timid Robert is forgetting which lies to tell to whom, and catastrophe looms,” as described by the Uvalde Grand Opera House.
