Austin City Limits Music Festival Set to Start October 6

The 16th year of the Austin City Limits Music Festival (ACL) is set to take the stage for two weekends of a jam-packed star-studded lineup beginning October 6. Austin, Texas will be front-and-center showcasing the success of its hit TV show. “Outside the studio and into Austin’s most beloved park, the ACL Festival features a diverse lineup of acts every year with 8 stages, more than 140 bands – and best of all, two weekends,” shares www.austintexas.org.

The fun starts this weekend, October 6-8, and continues on October 13 – 15, 2017. A festival unique to Austin full of energy and bringing Zilker Park to a roar as local and national bands hit the stage and the crowds go wild with excitement for their favorite bands.

Be sure to bring your appetite as well for some of the best eats Austin has to offer at the ACL Eats Food Court. The Art Market will be on hand providing “…your one-stop shop for local and national artisans to sell goods to all ACL fans. From accessories and headgear to boots and posters,” shares its website.

Some of the stars you can expect to be part of the line-up include, Jay Z, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Chance the Rapper, Ice Cube, Ryan Adams, Solange, Foster the People, Vance Joy, plus many more talented and up-and-coming artists. For a complete line-up and ticket information visit their Facebook page and their website.
