The Grand Texas development in New Caney has released tickets for the first two elements of its theme park, including Gator Bayou Adventure Park and Big Rivers Waterpark. On track for opening June 29, the adventure park and water park were originally planned for a Memorial Day weekend opening. Now potential park-goers have a little more time to plan a trip to this family-oriented destination.

Located at the intersection of Highways 242 and 59, Grand Texas is anticipating 1.2 million visitors annually upon completion of all of its elements. Those features include a theme park, RV park, a sports complex, accommodations, and shopping/dining amenities. With their new annual pass, unlimited access to Gator Bayou’s Wild Island, Big Rivers Waterpark, Gator Gulch Alligator Exhibit, and Big Al’s Fishing Hole are all being offered to pass holders.

Annual ticket-holders will also receive a 10 percent discount on food and beverage as well as merchandise for both parks, a 20 percent discount for Speedsportz rental track racing, and a 20 percent discount for individual Gator Bayou tickets. Pricing for annual passes is currently set at $59.95, while regular costs are scheduled at $89.99. General admission (weekend) tickets are $39.99, now discounted at $29.99.
