Boot Ranch: Luxury Living Unique to the Texas Hill Country
Though Boot Ranch is outside of city limits, the utilities are contracted with the City of Fredericksburg, meaning there is a limit on the number of homesites that can be developed and thus will prevent overcrowding. This is important to those worried about the influx of housing developments taking over rural areas. “Development has really started to take off in the last year and a half.” Boot Ranch came under new ownership by the Terra Verde Group and there are currently $40 million in new homes under construction.
Boot Ranch offers a massive slew of amenities. All home purchases include a membership to the ranch. Now, most private communities offer membership to the owners and their children under the age of 23. When the children reach 23, they are required to purchase their own membership. However, membership at Boot Ranch is multi-generational, meaning that up to five generations can take advantage of their membership. This includes parents, grandparents, children, and grandchildren.
The ranch features a 55,000 sq. ft. club house village consisting of six buildings, all of which have both indoor and outdoor fireplaces. Within this village members will find casual and fine dining. “We have an incredible chef and dining is available six days a week”, says Gioffre. In addition, there is a kid’s club, a spa, a sports club, mens and ladies locker rooms complete with a lounge area, an open-air pavilion that will accommodate over 300 people, outdoor pizza ovens, and member lodge suites for members and their guests. As for outdoor activities, Boot Ranch offers tennis courts, a bike trail that will eventually span the entire 2,050 acres of the ranch, resort-style pools, catch-and-release fishing, a trap-and-skeet range, and a 34 acre championship golf course complete with a short range and short course. “More ladies and men have started golfing here for the first time ever.”
