Bored with the internet and watching other people’s videos? Treaty Oak Distilling has several great ways to experience your own sensations all from the comfort of your own home. Named after Austin’s 500-year old tree which shaded the execution of agreements to define Texas borders, this distillery and restaurant are committed to sustainability in partnership with the unique aspects of Texas to create truly extraordinary spirits.

First, food. Named after the mother of founder and CEO Daniel Barnes, Alice’s Restaurant is offering a delectable to-go menu every day from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m. The menu boasts BBQ pit glory such as sausage, turkey, and brisket, as well as take-and-bake meal options. The Treaty Oak Market is also here for your basic grocery item needs. To order, download the Toast Takeout App, then set up a profile and search for Treaty Oak Distilling. Once an order is received, expect a call or text with instructions. Guests can receive to-go orders of food and beverages from their vehicles, or pick up from the open-air Rickhouse.

Second, libations. Need something to wet your quarantined whistles as well? Orders for a multitude of beers, wines, and cocktail kits are available. Treaty Oak Whiskey and Waterloo Gin are also open for ordering and delivery of spirits online (for those 21+). Check out the offerings on the website, and ship straight from Dripping Springs to your door. The Texas Governor said we could, it’s time to take advantage! (Sorry, not yet for Alaska, Alabama, Idaho, Kentucky, Mississippi, South Dakota and Utah).

Third, fun things! Tap into your playtime mode and download the digital adult coloring book and recipe card from Waterloo Gin on the website. New templates to colorize, along with corresponding cocktail recipes, will be popping up throughout the upcoming weeks. Also, Treaty Oak Distilling will be creating and passing along 2oz bottles of hand sanitizer prepared from the high-proof Grain Neutral Spirits from the Waterloo No. 9 Gin, plus glycerin, hydrogen peroxide and water, all in accordance with the World Health Organization’s formula. Treaty Oak Distilling has created an easy setup to support local business. Visit their website today and spread the word!
