Bowl Games: You Could be Here (All Things Texas-Related This Season)
1. Lockheed Martin Armed Forces Bowl, December 23

This used to be known as the Bell Helicopter Armed Forces Bowl and has been played 14 times, with Texas teams representing in 50 percent of the games. Being played at the Amon G. Carter Stadium in Fort Worth, this matchup sees Army vs. San Diego State.
2. Birmingham Bowl, December 23

Texas Tech vs. USF is another good one, taking place at Legion Field in Birmingham, Alabama. The matchup sees the star quarterback from South Florida (Quinton Flowers) up against the TT defensive coordinator (David Gibbs).
3. Hawaii Bowl, December 24

Featuring Fresno State against the University of Houston, this matchup is being held at the Aloha Stadium in Honolulu, Hawaii. Get your junk food lined up and mark your space on the couch – this is going to be a good one.
4. Zaxby’s Heart of Dallas Bowl, December 26

Located in Dallas, the Zaxby’s Heart of Dallas Bowl is played at the Cotton Bowl and provides thousands of donated tickets to first responders. This matchup will feature Utah vs. West Virginia.
5. Academy Sports & Outdoors Texas Bowl, December 27

Featuring Missouri vs. the University of Texas, the Academy Sports & Outdoors Texas Bowl is taking place at NRG Stadium in Houston.
6. Valero Alamo Bowl, December 28

The Alamo Bowl is in its 25th game and features Standford up against TCU at The Alamodome in San Antonio. These bowl games have been noted as occasionally being close, but always being entertaining.
7. Belk Bowl, December 29

The Belk Bowl will be played at the Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, North Carolina, with a matchup featuring Texas A&M vs. Wake Forest. A&M fans will be paying close attention.
8. Hyundai Sun Bowl, December 29

Held in El Paso, the Hyundai Sun Bowl will see a matchup between Arizona State and NC State. Without Texas teams in this game, there’s not much more to be said other than the location is amazingly great (but we’re not biased or anything.)
9. Goodyear Cotton Bowl, December 29

10. NCAA Division I Football Championship Game, January 6
