Brooks & Dunn Releasing New Album ‘Reboot’ This Spring

By  |

The news is out – Brooks & Dunn are scheduled to release a new album this spring! Called “Reboot,” the project will feature a number of duets with their famous friends. A-list country music stars announced as a part of the album are said to be Luke Combs, Brett Young, and Thomas Rhett, among others.

Kix Brooks and Ronnie Dunn took the country music industry by storm together back in 1990 with their first album, “Brand New Man.” Both singers and songwriters in their own right, Brooks hails from Shreveport, Louisiana, and Dunn is from Coleman, Texas. As a duo, they went on to release 10 more studio albums and five compilations. The duo can boast 50 singles (20 of which are number ones), countless accolades and awards, and a musical style that was said to have helped “re-popularize line dancing in the United States.” Now Brooks & Dunn will throw the dice again with their first full album together since 2007. And the odds are in their favor.

Their latest release off Reboot is a remake of the song “Believe,” with Kane Brown. Originally, the song was released in 2006 on the duo’s “Hillbilly Deluxe” album. Back in the day, it won Single of the Year, Music Video of the Year, and Song of the Year at the Country Music Association awards. “Reboot,” their 12th studio album, will also see duets with such influential Texans such as Kacey Musgraves and the band Midland. Additional artists on the album include Lanco, Ashley McBryde, Brothers Osborne, Cody Johnson, Tyler Booth, and Jon Pardi. Although the full track listing has yet to be released, fans are already geared up with this latest Kane Brown project as well as the reproduction of “Brand New Man” with Luke Combs. Over a dozen new tour dates have been scheduled. These include six shows in Las Vegas over the summer of 2019 (featuring fan favorite, Reba McEntire). This iconic country music duo will be blasting out over the airwaves once more with a sound which has generated a phenomenon – the “Boot Scootin’ Boogie.” The album “Reboot” will be available in April 2019.
