Plan to attend the chefs and award-winning winemakers at Perini Ranch for the Buffalo Gap Wine & Food Summit 2018. Hosted by Perini Ranch, Fess Parker Winery and Vineyard, and Becker Vineyards, this event is one not to be missed, just 13 miles south of Abilene. With a mission to grow an appreciation for fine wine and food through industry discussions as well as some creative education, the organizers work tirelessly to make this a one-of-a-kind summit, happening Friday, April 13 to Sunday, April 15.

Out at 3002 FM 89, Buffalo Gap, the Buffalo Gap Wine & Food Summit was originally founded in 2005. They hosted a number of fantastic chefs who have since gone on to great acclaim (including winners of the James Beard Award), and the event continued to garner culinary masters as it went on. This year promises to be no exception. With 15 top chefs from throughout Texas, including Tom Perini himself (of the Perini Ranch Steakhouse), guests of the event will be treated to cuisine that far surpasses their expectations!

Including wine tastings as you stroll around under the live oaks at the Perini Ranch Steakhouse, as well as a gala seated dinner situated in a huge white tent which is lit by chandeliers, the Buffalo Gap Wine & Food Summit also featured a chuckwagon breakfast and a night of dancing under the West Texas stars. Imagine all of that and the opportunity to sample some of the area’s finest wines and cuisine?! It’s a Texas tradition you should let pass you by.
