The bulls and some of the best bull riders in the Lone Star State are returning to Llano for a Texas-sized event that families look forward to every year. Last year’s flooding forced the show to cancel, but now Llano Xtreme Bulls and the South Texas Longhorn Association show is returning to Llano. The fun takes place from October 18 through October 20, 2019, right here in the Hill Country and just in time for pleasant fall temperatures. Don’t forget, it’s all happening this October in Llano!

The weekend fun includes thrilling pro-bull riding, the artwork of Western Trappings on the Llano, and even comes complete with a longhorn show presented by the South Texas Longhorn Association.

The bull riders  true professionals, so spectators are guaranteed a good show in this adrenaline-pumping event. It’s presented by Cecil Motors and will feature pro-bull riders whose skill and courage make for an amazing example of the sport and a thrilling night that audiences won’t soon forget. The rankest PBR bulls from the JD Nix Rodeo Company are sure to be a thrilling challenge to these riders! Forty of the top riders who hail from organizations like PBR and PRCA will hold on as long as they can, competing for $10,000 in prize money. The Xtreme action kicks off at 7:30, Saturday evening. After the bull riding that night, hit the dance floor with the Llano Station Band.

Don’t miss out on the South Texas Longhorn Association Llano show. The best in prize-winning longhorns will be shown beginning on Friday with a Futurity and continuing through Saturday at 4:00 in the afternoon, then closing on Sunday with a Youth Show. If you love these majestic creatures as much as we do, you’ll want to be there.

Between shows, you can get your Christmas shopping done early at the Llano Cowboy Christmas, which has the same hours as the Longhorn Show! You can also get your thrills riding a mechanical bull, satisfy your sweet tooth with a snack, or let the kids enjoy a pony ride.
