House hunting while social distancing is made easy now via virtual walkthroughs and open houses, videos, and social media, benefiting buyers and sellers alike. Visits in person are often by appointment only, masks are encouraged, and brokers are careful of touching multiple surfaces. To further the market, some sellers are choosing to provide pre-inspections, giving potential buyers more upfront information, while limiting the potential parade of inspectors in the home. Additionally, many websites break out mortgage payments, tax information, and other helpful numbers that provide a complete picture of owning the home would be like. While buying and selling homes and properties during a pandemic may have new elements to the norm, all professionals involved strive to create the safest experience possible.
