A video titled “the bucket” doesn’t sound like it would be particularly captivating, but this clip, recorded on May 5th is a wonderful combination of relaxing and beautiful. A man placed a camera at the bottom of a water bucket and filmed as animals came up to take a drink. Creatures of all sizes gather at the small watering hole including bees, birds, a rabbit, and a donkey. Seeing the animals from a completely different perspective and noticing how they take sips of water is rather interesting, as well. Chickens seem to nip at the water while the donkey sucks up the water like he’s drinking out of a straw.

The video was uploaded to YouTube by John Wells, a man who Bored Panda says works for “a Southwest Texas alternative energy and sustainable living field laboratory” called The Field Lab.

Wells just recently moved from New York to the country so he could live off the grid and connect with nature. He’s getting along well and learning all of the animals that surround his lab. “I was pleasantly surprised during the edit to see that George [the rabbit] made an appearance. I know him from all the other rabbits because of the tiny notch in his ear,” he said.
