For a wonderful escape from the city, Boerne is a great place to experience the charm of the Texas Hill Country. This growing and thriving community boasts a variety of artists and galleries. But for fine art at its finest, a visit to Carriage House Gallery of Artists is in order.

Located in the heart of downtown Boerne at 110 Rosewood Avenue, Carriage House Gallery is a charming stone cottage, accented by deep burgundy awnings and attractive window boxes. Its warm and friendly atmosphere welcomes visitors to a diverse array of fine art in all manner of subject matter and styles. Founded in 2003, the gallery presently features works from its artist partners in a broad range of media. It’s been voted “Best of the Best” art gallery in Boerne for the past two years and for many good reasons. Guests to the gallery are always greeted with a smile and a warm welcome by an inviting artist as opposed to a general curator. Whether you are simply browsing, or are in the market for artwork, the service is second-to-none by an individual who is deeply familiar with the art on display.

And there’s even more to see! Visitors are welcome to enjoy the various styles during regular business hours or to attend an upcoming Second Saturday Art Beat event. Happening on the second Saturday of each month, Carriage House Gallery hosts this event complete with fine wine, hors-d’oeuvres, and live music, making the visitor’s experience one of exhilaration. Finding yourself immersed in the new and exciting artworks by the very artists you follow is intoxicating itself, let alone the myriad of sounds, sights, and tastes that perfectly complement those pieces.
