Celebrate National Iced Tea Day in Texas

Did someone just say that today is National Iced Tea Day? And, isn’t Texas the Iced Tea Capital of the World? (Or, at least we think so!) Well, June 10 is National Iced Tea Day in the U.S.

Not a big fan of tea? Don’t worry. National Bourbon Day is just around the corner June 14, followed by National Coffee Day in September. There are plenty of beverages to go around the calendar.

For you iced tea fanatics, here are a few places to cool off with a free iced tea:

• Starbucks: If you buy a Teavana drink, you’ll get a second for free in Mango Black Tea Lemonade and Peach Green Tea flavors.

• Snapple: Get a free Snapple Straight Up Tea with this coupon while supplies last.

• Bojangles: Participating stores will give away a free tea with any purchase. Customers who join the chain’s E-Club by June 10 will also be entered to win free tea for a year.

• Teavana: Locations will serve free iced tea samples June 10-12 in celebration of National Iced Tea Day. The retailer is also offering $25 off any $60 Teavana.com purchase, plus free shipping. Tea lovers will have a chance to win free Teavana tea for a year, plus a free 22 fluid ounce iced tea beverage and up to 50 percent off any full priced item June 10-12, June 17-19 and June 24-26.
  

• McAlister’s Deli: Mark your calendar. The restaurant will forgo National Iced Tea Day on June 10 by waiting to celebrate Free Tea Day on July 21.
