There’s an amazing number of options in this vast state of ours, including concerts, football games, fun runs, and fiestas! New Year’s Eve events and parties are one thing the Lone Star State does in style. With something for everyone, here are just a few you might want to check into.

1. Celebrate 300 in San Antonio

San Antonio rings in 2019 with a bang as it closes out the city’s 300th anniversary! Fireworks, music, Carnaval de San Antonio, and so much more await you at this free Texas Hill Country event. Located at Hemisfair Park, and inside La Villita/Maverick Plaza, in downtown San Antonio, you can expect to find friends, family, and travelers from all over as the Alamo City welcomes more than 250K to downtown to partake of the food, rides, and festivities!

2. New Year’s Eve at Gruene Hall

Those looking to spend New Year’s Eve in the Texas Hill Country couldn’t ask for a friendlier place to do so than Gruene Hall. The oldest dance hall in Texas is the prime spot to ring in 2019, featuring the latest music, great dancing, and so much fun. This year’s talent is none other than American Aquarium with special guest Jamie Lin Wilson!

3. Billy Bob’s Texas

Located in the historic Fort Worth Stockyards, you can pay tribute to your Texas roots by ringing in New Year’s Eve at Billy Bob’s Texas. Known as the world’s largest honky-tonk, the amazing experience awaiting you for NYE is the epic Randy Rogers Band. Doors will open at 6 p.m. with the music beginning at 10:30 p.m. Reservations are available, but general admission is $20.00. Either way, you’re bound to have a great time celebrating New Year’s Eve in true Texas style!
