Chase Bank Looking for 100 Spanish-Speaking Employees in San Antonio
According to The Guardian, since June 2015, America has had more Spanish-speakers than the entire country of Spain, making it “the world’s second largest Spanish-speaking country after Mexico.” Also, “the Index of Human Development ranks Spanish as the second most important language on earth,” so more and more companies will need to employ bilingual Spanish and English speakers.
This week, MySA.com said that Chase Bank is looking to bring in 100 Spanish-speaking people to fill positions at their corporate center in Stone Oak in San Antonio. The high amount of offerings gives job-seeking hopefuls a good shot at becoming a part of the Chase Bank team. The ad says they’re looking for “people who have at least one year of experience in phone or face-to-face customer service. Specialty call center jobs are available in customer service, fraud, claims and other departments.”
If you want to know more about the new positions and check to see if your Spanish skills are up to par, visit the Jobs and Careers at Chase page and search for job #170065139. You’ll be asked to apply online and take a Spanish Language Assessment test. After completing the application, you can attend the job fair on June 27 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. at 20855 Stone Oak Parkway and hopefully meet your new employers!
