Woman Orders Chicken Wings, Gets Thousands of Dollars Instead

In San Jose, Selena Avalos placed an order from her local Domino’s Pizza for a lunch delivery to Spacetel Wireless where she works as a manager. Once she received the meal, she opened the box, expecting to see her order of chicken wings. Instead, she saw thousands of dollars in cash in stacks with rubber bands.

While many people would receive this box and think they had hit the jackpot, Avalos didn’t feel right about keeping the cash. She immediately put in a call to the manager of the Domino’s location she ordered from.

“Wouldn’t they be thinking, ‘Where did that money go?'” she explained to ABC. Strangely, she didn’t receive a callback and remained confused as to what her next step should be. It took the help of ABC 7 to get her in contact with Domino’s corporate office and straighten the matter out.

In the end, because Avalos was so honest and willing to do the right thing, Spacetel Wireless is gifting her with a weeklong vacation with pay. Domino’s has also assured her she will receive free pizza for a year due to her thoughtful actions.
