Corpus Christi resident Nichole Herrera went viral for her “Nightmare Before Christmas” inspired nail art that the Caller Times said she painted in October for a client. Herrera takes special requests when it comes to nail designs, and she does more than paint a few layers. She takes the time to paint detailed characters with gel nail polish using tiny brushes on long or short nails.

Due to her success and unique abilities as a nail artist, Herrera has decided to “go solo,” so to speak. She announced via Facebook last week, “It is official and I will be SOLO in the nail business. I am so excited to start this new adventure and I have all my family and lovely clients/friends to thank! For your constant loyalty and belief in me. I thank you from the bottom of my heart! So from now on if you’re wanting an appointment just message/text me, I will be starting at my new location Feb 1st.”

Herrera told the Caller Times that she worked hard to build her clientele back up after she took 10 months off for maternity leave. When her nail art went viral, she was able to gain new clients, and now, she’s ready to take her career to the next level!
